5-7 Days Before Test Day
- Complete the ProctorExam system check. Please refer to the email received from ProctorExam.
- You must use a personal device only (no work/library/university computers).
- You must use a personal internet connection only (no work/library/university internet. Personal Hotspot is okay).
On Test Day
- Start your test on time (refer to the start of the session). All times are given in AET.
- Bring an official photo ID (Valid Passport, Australian Driving License, etc).
- Bring blank, loose paper and a pen. Show the paper to the camera when instructed by the ProctorExam setup.
- Position your mobile phone correctly as shown by ProctorExam: the phone view must be from a side angle (it cannot be placed behind you).
During The Test
- Read and follow all the instructions on the screen carefully.
- You must be completely alone in the room/space.
- Contact NAATI via the live support chat for any questions or issues.
The "DO"s
- Complete the system check at least 48 hours before the test.
- Make sure your ID is clear in the setup photo.
- Show all note-taking pages to the camera in the set-up, front and back.
- Place your phone so that it clearly shows your face, desk, and any notetaking during the test.
The "DON'T"s
- Don't continue your test if you see an error message on the test page. Contact the live support chat and wait for a response.
- Do not use a notebook or notepad, and do not bring any other printed notes into the test (only blank loose paper).
- Do not set your phone up far away or completely behind you.
- No additional monitors or other electronic devices are allowed in the room.
- No Bluetooth devices, including wireless headphones/earbuds.
- No wired headsets or earphones.
- No other person is allowed in the room.
- No electronic resources, such as dictionaries, web browsing, live captions, or transcription features are allowed.
- Typing notes on your keyboard is not permitted (handwritten notes only).
